It has been over a month that Russia started a war of aggression against Ukraine. The United Nations says ten million people — around a quarter of the population —have fled, either displaced inside the country or as refugees abroad, searching for safety. Following these events in Ukraine, VCF has set up this Bright Funds page in support of, and to enable, donations to the World Central Kitchen. In staying true to our mission of ‘Growing a better world together’, this is just one small way we can show our support to those communities facing unimaginable circumstances and uncertainty at this moment.

A devastating 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Morocco on Friday, September 8, 2023. The earthquake has killed more than 2,900 people and injured many thousands more. It is the strongest earthquake Morocco has experienced in more than a century. The following organizations are providing relief to those impacted by the earthquake by providing food, medical care, and other critical resources. Your donation to this Fund will help support these organizations' shared mission of providing immediate relief to survivors while assessing long-term recovery needs. Please note that the composition of organizations included in this Fund is subject to change as more information becomes available about needs on the ground.
